I'm so fortunate to have stumbled upon Andrea Barton's prenatal zoom yoga class. She has a gift of creating a warm and nurturing community, sharing her expertise and knowledge of the body, and establishing a safe environment to connect with others and feel welcomed. It's hard enough to create this kind of community in person and yet Andrea is able to do it all online. I even fell asleep during savasana at the end of one of our classes! That's how truly relaxing and restorative her guided meditations are. Thank you, Andrea, for all that you do.

Postnatal yoga is essential for anyone trying to figure out how to get back into exercise after having a baby. Andrea is great at meeting each mother where she is and validating each person’s experience. Her classes focus on engaging those essential muscles of the core and pelvic floor, and she has a way of making even the smallest movement feel powerful. I always end class feeling better both physically and emotionally.

They are connected to something bigger, beyond the habits and patterns that dominate our grown-up lives. Yoga encourages us to maintain that connection- to our inner Self and to something bigger- and to stay curious and open to our experiences. Starting with the body we slowly progress inward, and find what is waiting to be rediscovered.
